CREDITOR BANKRUPTCY LAW

Business creditors will wish to secure early representation in bankruptcy court.  Although the bankruptcy legal framework was constructed with the primary objective of discharging debts, the rights and responsibilities of the respective parties and the priorities of creditors are rigidly defined.  Attorneys at the Cheadle | Law offices have had extensive creditor bankruptcy law experience and can assist business creditors in confirming the creditor’s rights and interest in the debtor’s secured property, assist in resolving nondischargeability and preference issues and negotiate reaffirmations and motions for relief from the automatic stay.

RECEIVERSHIP LAW

State Court Receiverships are a particularly effective judicial remedy in which a business borrower’s assets, which are collateral for a lender’s secured loan, can be marshaled, stabilized and secured.  For over three decades, John Cheadle has served as a Court-appointed Receiver or Liquidating Trustee of businesses and commercial properties, including apartment complexes, condominium projects, automobile dealerships, office buildings, shopping centers, a cable television company and many others.
